Blazer EV Unveiling Later This Year

General Motors officials have indicated that they intend to unveil more details about the mid-size Blazer EV later this year. It will be available in our Jasper, IN showroom sometime in spring 2023. We expect that the Blazer EV will use GM's third-generation EV platform and use Ultium batteries. the Blazer EV may share interior characteristics with the electric versions of the Silverado EV and the future Equinox EV.

Targeted to Ferdinand, IN Families

Given the Blazer's size, one could assume that the range of this vehicle will be around 300 miles on one charge. There is also some speculation that the third-generation Chevrolet EV platform may experiment with stretching the vehicle's wheelbase to include a three-row option that could accommodate up to seven passengers.

Possible Chevy SS Blazer EV?

Huntingburg drivers who want a performance version of the Blazer may see an SS version. The SS designation is short for Super Sport. As Chevrolet has a long heritage with performance cars like the Camaro, an SS Blazer EV could be the first in the manufacturer's line of electric vehicles. Chevrolet may also add SuperCruise, its hands-free driver technology, to the Blazer EV.
